Gilberto is baptized after learning about the gospel through drawings. Gilberto is deaf, unable to speak and cannot read or write.Victor Navarro teaches an adult Bible class from the front porch of Laura Ross's home where the church presently meets.Children under the age of 10 years old meet in the living room of Laura Ross's home for Bible classes.young people 10 years of age and older meet in Laura's backyard.The ministry team meets regularly to study the Bible together and encourage one another.
The Church
Soon after we began working in the village bible studies were started and a church was planted.  Presently the church meets in the home of mission team member Laura Ross.  There are approximately 50 people who meet weekly.
Village Life
Life in the village is simple and at times very difficult.  The majority of men are field workers.  Women generally work at home without the help of technology.  The village pastime is socializing with neighbors.
